Another rainy day….dragging my feet on tackling the front end so more useless powder coating….original spring wasn’t rusty just dingy and wouldn’t clean up….
If it were mine I’d start over and try a new coil…I had two new ones, tecumsehs, bad bought from same vendor…put an old one on it fired…just saying…oh and go ahead and replace ALL the points….
So today was paint wheel day….i had sprayed primer….looked like crap…wheels have some imperfections….paint/light color brought it out even more….so it started raining…again….so we powder coated them….
It’s called black stardust….
im thinking they’ll go great with the color I picked for the...
Now this has to be some freaky shit….after the above post I was looking though the few covers that I do have and found this thing….
Guess that answers that! Now if this is in the correct spot….we may need to bend a shifter..
Ok so here’s the thing….had anyone ever tapped and threaded the little 7/16thish hole on the sump cover on a hs40/50?
I’ve been experimenting with helicoils….work fine but not sure they will take the stress of the shifter….
I know I know….thats what a Briggs is for right… Outside the box...
