Jackshaft kit? Or Torq-a-verter?

I have a baja DB and a baja MB165 and I was woundering which would be the best choice for preformence on my bikes?

jack shafts are great if you need to manipulate a gear ratio or have the rear sprocket on the right side, tourque converters will give you the bottom end take off you want and the top end speed you need.

Right know it would be a lot cheaper route to go with a jackshaft set up, With Comet closing the prices are high for TAV2 right now.

both bikes are still stock? db has 2.5hp and big bike has the 6.5.
best thing for your db would be a jackshaft,because no one makes a torque converter for a 5/8/metric crankshaft for 2.5 honda clone engine and for your big bike, you already have a jackshaft on it. most people don't know is that you can still buy all the parts and convert you jackshaft unit into a torque converter. cheaper then trying to bidd on a $400+ comet torque converter on ebay right now

If you are talking about the two speed clutch jackshaft kit, I can tell you that I am very happy with mine. And there is no slipping belt (tavs).

There should be a special registration for minibikes to ride on certain streets during the day only if you don't have lights. I don't want to have to drive 3 hours to go for a ride.
