Doodlebug Brakes

Hi, i just bought a doodlebug and also purchased a pmr jackshaft. The brakes on the doodlebug are not very good and i was thinking, would the Avid bb5 moutain bike brake work on the existing mount of the doodlebug?and if not is their any good brakes I can buy?

Hey Millsman, .. Intros section,,, you should check it out, give the guys in the rest of the forum notice you're on board. A lot of the guys around here really like the pocket bike type hydraulic brakes. However, if you into tinkering the stock brakes can be adjusted at the caliper just depends on how fast or how much you stopping. Welcome to OMB, the best minibiking forum around.
