Got the clutch flipped around and centered up the engine. I threw on a new clutch. The first one was a craigs list special on a Sunday evening. It worked but a little worn out. The new one is day and night! I had to re-fab the pipe a bit to keep it in the frame. The wheelies are sweet on this. I think with a little more practice I'll be able to hold one down the street. We have 5 quads, 2 CRF 250R's, an RM 85, a KX 65, and this mini bike which none of us can leave alone. Money well spent!

Yeah there pretty fun, and addicting, even if you own a real motorcycle. you seem to want to ride the mini.

Tripp,

The DBs can be a lot of fun with a better motor... I think you did a fine job.

Don't let anyone else put you off with silly comments. Most here will appreciate the fact that you are having fun with a hobby they also enjoy!

Never saw a pic of one done until I did it . Looks way better IMO, never understood the sky high fender.

the ones with the blue are the HF clones.

as for the pipe, check out AGK. they've got a bunch of different style headers. affordablegokarts: Straight Header, Single Stage

a friend of mine is almost done with swapping a 110cc Lifan w/ a 4-speed into his DB30 (he had to make modify a bunch of stuff). he texted me yesterday that he finally got it running. it's a super tight fit but looks sick. i should be going by his house sometime this week, i'll try to remember to get pics.

Cool Tripp, are you running the billet rod and 18lb valve springs? I'm building a blue 6.5 now and I got sharked into buying all of the extras from AGK, started with the mikuni carb and pipe and then AGK shows "related items" and before I knew what hit me my basket was full, I can hardly wait to get mine finished and running.
