A friend of mine has been trying to sell his RESTORED El Burro for a little while now, two rounds on ebay with a starting bid of $400, with no takers.
A rare bike, but maybe not too desirable??

Someone sent me the ebay auction , I am surprised it did not get a bid.

I think the Super 8 is more sought after, also with no shipping your pool of buyers is much smaller.

I can ship, but sipping isn't included in the sale price, buyer will have to figure out a way to get it to their location.

Yeah, I am going to agree with these guys on price.. There was one on Craigslist that looked AWESOME for like 150, and it didn't sit very long.. But I've seen others for 500 and not sell.. You don't see them very often BUT a LOT of these old mini bike guys prefer the smaller little bikes I think.. Unless it is something completely unbelieveable.. Rokon 2 wheel drives with big ole tractor tires are pretty expensive, but the El Burro's and Terra Cats.. the huge simpler machines seem to be 400-500 for a pretty nice one.. Yours is pretty nice no doubt.. I think if I HAD to sell the bike, I would take the 400 offer.. mayyyyybe hold out for 450... But I sincerely doubt you would ever get more than 500 anywhere to anyone.. Maybe a Car Show swap meet where you are less likely to find mini bike experts, yet STILL find people with cash to burn... Not sure why But people just aren't very interested in the great big monster bikes.. I'd love to own it but don't NEED it and can spend 400 in other places, ya know?.... thats what a lot of these guys are thinking.. just my opinion...

I too watched the auction on ebay.I thought about it, but I really enjoy building them more than buying them already restored. I love the big tire bikes myself.Had you been closer or in ohio , I may have jumped on it. Wanna trade for a Heald super bronc VT7 project ?? I have an extra one..
