DB30 Doodlebug - runs - $100 - bay area only

i've got a DB30 i'm looking to get rid of. i bought it and was going to do a 6.5 swap but lost interest and don't have the money/space to do it now.

it's missing the rear fender and the powder coat looks like shit (plus i started sanding the front fender). the stock motor leaks gas when it runs too.

i'm looking to get $100 for it. it'd be perfect if you want to repaint it and stick a 6.5 in there. the pic is from the CL ad when i bought it.

i won't ship and don't really want to drive more than 20 minutes to meet up. it's at my friend's house in Moraga right now, he should be bringing it to our work in Walnut Creek this week. i'm not sure if i'll bring it to my place or not since i have no room.

i've also got a Honda GX120 (4hp) that i'll sell for $75 obo. it looks a bit shitty but seems to run ok.

either pm me here or email me at the_berzerker02 at yahoo.com.

I lived in Moraga in 1970. I had a Bennelli Dynamo and came home a time or two with the bike in the trunk of the cops car. I was in seventh grade.

if you want to pick it up in Walnut Creek it is (only about a 45 minute drive). my friend is bringing it to my work there tomorrow. i'll be around all weekend if you'd want to take a look at it.

i've got one guy interested in it now (from CL) but i'm not sure what's going to happen with that yet.

if you want to check it out, let me know.

the bike is at my work now. i also forgot that i have the rear fender for it. it's the one that is all sanded down, the front one is bent a little bit at the back.

i hadn't seen the bike for a couple of months so i got confused as to what was missing. the rear fender was off when i bought it and i had a brain fart.

here are some better pics.

Well, I think with the doodlebug, I would need to drill new holes for a briggs 5hp.

I really, really like the $200 minibike you got!!!!!

you either need to drill holes or you can get the mounting plate from cjtmini (member here) for a good price. that way you don't have to modify anything.

the one for $200 is also at my work right now.

here are some current pics. ignore the "out of service" sign, one of the detailers was trying to be funny. i'd probably go down to $175 for it now because the rear brake needs a little bit of work.
