Question ?? how fast will a 6.5hp or a 5.5hp go in a doodlebug

i was woundering how fast a 5.5hp or a 6.5hp motor would go in a baja doodlebug, without any engine mods.

5.5hp will give you about 5.5hp. The 6.5hp? not so sure, might get 6.5hp out of it. You will need like 10,000.00 jiggawats of power to get it to really move.

speed will depend on engine RPM and gearing, you can gear a 3.5 to go faster than a 6.5

it should go the same speed as stock just get there alot quicker. if you can afford it get a tav with the hf 6.5 it will bump up your max speed because of the over drive and make your db a rocket.

plug the info in here. that will give you an idea of what it will do. that doesn't take weight, terrain or wind resistance into account though.

All depends on gearing, that calculator Stigoi posted is good for a rough estimate.
