Exclamation New MB165: Baja Motorsports MB200

Well, just figured out why my local Tractor Supply has their Baja Warrior mini bikes on clearance sale. Looks like Baja Motorsports has redesigned the MB165 like they did the DB30.

To get a look, click on the link below:

Baja Motorsports Mini Bike, 196cc - 1007150 | Tractor Supply Company

Got an e-mail from the minibajaownersgroup forum the other day telling that the new Warrior/Heat/Mini Baja was gonna be called the "MB200". I guess this is it....

Comments...?

Except, unlike the Doodlebug, it does not appear to be re-designed!

Okay, the frame appears the same, the tires look the same size, ditto with the seat and engine.

But check out the paint, the faux gas tank, fenders, color of the wheels, the clutch/jackshaft assembly cover, most if not all the chrome is gone. Reflectors mounted on the frame/forks, etc.

If re-designed is too strong a word, then let's say they "changed" it then.

Is that "PC" enough?

Now I think I may have to paint my rims, love the black wheel look on that bike and since I already have black bars I think it would look great

$459 at my local Tractor Supply here in Galax, Virginia (They have 4 or 5 there).

Keep in mind it's the Baja WARRIOR that's on clearance, not the new MB200.

I started to black out my Warrior and the 200 looks nice fully done out. I think the reflectors are dumb and should be deleted as a first mod.. but they were probably a safety feature. The in "tank" storage is neat though. Probably the best of all is a STEEL jackshaft guard!!! I am not sure what is different in the motor to make it a 200cc. Either a flattop piston or a very slightly larger head cc measurement. Either way you wont feel a difference vs the old 196cc.
I have noticed that the Dirt Bugs and MB200's are using this clear tubing with a valve thing on it as a PCV system now. Don't know if its good or bad but its supposedly an improvement.

Here's another pic of the MB200 at a different angle. Just for shitz and giggles I pasted a pic of a Yerf Dog for comparison:

Some similarities there, but about $400 difference in the price tag.

Noticed that, bolted down so no more flyoffs when you boot hits it riding a trail
