Talking E-Rivet>>" I BOUGHT IT "

Well I went to pep boys to check out the new little mini bike "E-Rivet". It was on sale for $219.00. They only had a floor model with some scratches. The manager said he would give me 10% off. I couldn't help myself. $197.00, They are so cool. The manager said they have 600 of them in there warehouse, so I guess they made a bunch of them. Another project

Congrats!
How close do you think your bike is in spec to the Serengeti Badger 450W offered at other stores {volts, watts, frame size??}
Your looks more compact, and maybe lower motor watts (and a better price!)?

This mini is TINY. That electric badger is the same size as a doodle bug. Motor is 350w and the length is 30", width, 10", seat height 20", wheelbase 22". Only weighs 66 pounds.

What are you planning on modifying on it if you dont mind me asking? Looks like you could fold it up and throw it in the trunk of a car and at 66 #s easy to lift!! I like it!!

You may be surprised at what an electric can do.
(DC) Volts X Amps = Watts
estimated 24Volts X 14.5amp = 350 Watt

Soooooo, maybe

(est.) 36Volt X 14.5Amp = 522 Watts
Then maybe top end speeds closer 17.8MPH if 36VDC over-volted.
(short burst -- heat kills a controllers/wires/motor)

It's all about power-to -weight though ....

Real Nice bike for a medium to lightweight kid to start on: please let us know how it performs before ya mod it to gasser'.
Real nice as an indoor bike. Ride from TV-room to bathroom to fridge .....
