Question 5 hp tec question

Hello all.
New to the site. have had the mini for a while. Its got a 5hp tec powersport.
I was wondering if any of you have had them blow up after removing the govener. Also please let me know how long you had it off and any other info.
Thanks a bunch.

If you are smart you will never blow any engine.

As long as you are not throttle happy you will be fine. You can go full throttle for acceleration but I personally never go past 3/4 throttle while crusing.

If you have been around engines and minibikes long enough you can listen to the rpms climb and know when to stop.
