Question Tec lighting/charge coil question

Will a HS40 coil assy. fit on a H50? Also are the flywheels the same?
I have a HS40 with a lighting coil but I need one for a H50.
I'm guessing that the coil and flywheel need to be from a H50 with a lighting coil?
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks in advance, Randy

The HS40 lighting coil/stator assy. will work on the H50, although technically the wiring plug is different (what sticks out of the engine to the wiring harness) The flywheel from the HS40 will NOT work on the H50, the crankshaft taper is different.

So I'm assuming that the flywheel is different between a "charge" engine and a regular?
I thought I remembered magnets all the way around on the charge/lighting coil engine flywheels?

Yep, the lighting coil flywheels have 12 magnets cast into them, whereas the regular ignition flywheels have only 2. Also the inner diameters of the two do not measure the same, I believe that a 2 magnet flywheel on a lighting coil stator assembly will have an interference fit....
