If it runs good why not use the carb you have?

i don't see what your saying....do you WANT to put on a slide throttle-type carb? because the stock carb on a 5HP briggs is a butterfly valve type throtle carb

Sorry for the confusion. The carb. has a "slide" type linkage. The question should be "Can the linkage be changed to work on a mini bike, instead of like a snow blower style linkage? It needs to be spring loaded instead of static positioning like it has. It is actually a "Craftsman" (5 hp Briggs) engine and the model # is 130202 - Type 3129-01 - Code - 90012007. I can't seem to be able to find any information on this engine. Is there a Craftsman - Briggs & Stratton cross reference chart? Thanks
