Apparently a 1947 Doodle Bug motor scooter made in Webster City Iowa in 1947.Sports the correct 1.5 hp kick start B&S. These were only made from 1946 through 1948 in Webster City..its a Hiawatha...

Yup. Randy and Oldsalt have one. They made them for four years, in runs of 10,000 each. Each run was slightly different.
REALLY cool bikes.

there is no such thing as a REAL Doodlebug, that isn't worth squat.. That is one of the very first and SOMEBODY would LOVE to own that bike..
