That orange one is well built, a little much but well executed! The one up top is an abomination and is definitely the wost thing anyone has done to a vintage minibike!

yea i thought id get some backlash from the lowrider. It is well built but still i think it deserves to be here. It is rideable though which gives it a one up on the competition hehe

The lowrider IS pretty over-the-top, but the rest of the bikes shown so far .... nightmare city, amigos ...

Found this one on Craigslist Manassas, VA..

Old school mini bike home made out of bits and pieces and spare parts. Very creative -- lots of bicycle parts and plumbing parts used. Motor turns over. Very interesting barn find. Conversation piece. It is about 55 inches long and 38 inches tall. For sale for $100 firm. No shipping -- you pick up.

This is a raped Caper Cycle that I am still glad to own because it is repairable. Note the motor base has been cut out and turned up-side-down. A section of frame tube has been eliminated on one side to clear the fan shroud. The rear tire was moved backward several inches by the pieces of scrap steel shown in the second picture. The last pic shows the cool way the seat was raised.

I "hacked" this 1970 Rupp roller years ago, I cut off the back half of the frame and welded on the bottom half of one of those Chinese knockoff scooters that I found in the trash. I really didn't think it would last but I have been pounding on it for around 5 years now. It has electric and kick start,, a TAV, lights, and is whisper quiet. It actually rides real nice too.
I didn't feel bad about cutting it up because there are a million Rupps still out there, and this one was an incomplete roller to start with. It would have cost me a fortune to piece it back together...

At first all I was going to keep from this bastard was the forks and motor but later decided to cut off all the B/S and save the frame for a rider just need swing arms and springs.
