Info on my manco minibike

Here's my minibike I bought a while ago. These pictures are of when I got it but the only difference now is no kill switch and a craftsman engine since the briggs died on me. I believe it's a manco streaker unless they changed the name (the recently retired manco streaker looks identical). Is it a classic model? Also any other info on it would be great.

recent 30 sec. video for kicks

From a search, I discovered Manco has been around for 32 years. I just thought this thing was old when I got it because of the smooched seat(really old foam I thought?) and the fact that it "just looks old". Does anyone know if the Manco streaker was released a long time ago? Or if it has any "classic / antique" value at all on e-bay or wherever?

Also anyone know the process of fixing up the seat?

Thanks.

I bought a Streaker off of craigslist not too long ago. Great little bike, but I wish the handle bars were swept forward.

take the seat apart...make a new foam insert with rebond carpet padding...cut the pieces out...spray glue them up...staple cover back on....
OR SEND IT TO ME !!! and ill fix it for a fee. is the cover good?

pmoore4321, nice looking bike. Very curious... How fast does it go with that 6.5? And is the governor still on it?

kbs8ball, thanks for the help. And I'm going to do the job myself but thanks for that offer. One quick question, I don't glue the new foam to the cover before stapling, correct? Thanks.

correct, do not glue cover to new foam...you can glue the foam to the wood base though...get the 3m spray adhesive.

Manco Mini Bike

Koolaid man,

I know this post is old, but I just recently came across an identical mini bike, only this one is original and complete except for a missing air cleaner. It is a Manco Streaker 580-11. It came with a 3.5 HP Tecumseh engine. I have not been able to get anymore information on this bike. If you get this send me an email.
