new guy question on Honda Clone

Hey guys,
I am new here. New to the minibike world, but not to engine stuff or these forums. I am on several of these things, and go by the same name on them all. Mainly I am a Sand toy and River toy guy, but I traded my kids go kart for this lil guy......




I had been looking to trade it for a welder or even a regular minibike my 10yr old could ride, this is kinda difficult to manuever.

Anyway, I came across a you tube video of the guy removing the governer. I am a heavy truck Mechanic, so tearing into this guy did not scare me at all. However, when putting it all back together, I did not even bother to pay attention to timing the cam gear to the crank gear.

So, no start condition and I have no info on this. Can someone please tell me how the timing is suppose to be set?

I understand at TDC, but are there marks or ???

for the timing, theres a dot on the crank gear and the cam. just line them up. and you should be good. if you didnt see them yet.
