    How good are Predator engines?

Looking at purchasing a 6.5HP Predator engine for my Quasi-Stellar frame. Want something that has kick to it without modification. I already have an OHV Briggs & Stratton 6HP on a Pepboys frame and that thing flys something fierce.

How reliable are these Predator engines?

I baby my engines so I am not worried about oil changes, treated gas or any of that nonsense. Just curious as to if they're any decent.

Mine has been as reliable as my Greyhound clone was, but it seems to burn cleaner, and is super easy to start. I have no complaints.

Well I just got 2 from HF after doing a ton of research, and you wont find a better deal out there hands down !!

After market parts are also becoming available to really hop these things up, should you want to.

Buy it,,,, you wont be disappointed .

for $99. at HF on sale what do you you have to lose, if it clunks out after a year toss it and get another , a $350. Briggs clunks and you will probably cry. I have Briggs, Hondas, Robin and the Predator, my first choices is the Briggs and the Robin but the Predator runs just as good.
