predator hemi engines?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the hemi and the regular 212 engine with the steel valve cover?I have looked at my harbour freight and we do not have any of the hemi there.Reason i ask we have a gokart track and try keeping it even and the rules are stock but theses heni engines showed up with a few guys and they seem to be a few 10ths faster.

setting the valves across from each other at a crazy angle lets them breath a lot more.. It makes a nice strait shot through the cylinder as apposed to making corners.. Like having an OHC but with push rods..

Out of the box the Hemi makes a little over 1hp more than the other one. It has a larger venture carb, and larger valves. The head ports are designed a little better for performance as well, IMO
