I think you would need 6 or 8 pounds to float the intake valve. Does it rev up with no chain on it? It might be floating the intake...

I can fabricate that set up for you. Then just have the local muffler shop weld it to the frame for 25bucks or there’s a whole roller...

I think you would have better luck fabricating that assembly on your kart. I think they were welded onto the frame.
