The clutch system looks like a Salsbury 500. These parts were available to builders and manufacturers. I have looked closely at how these machines were built. I think they were homemade. They are well built and it is unusual to see four built the same. I don't think they were built by Bonham.

You have the last version of the Trail Blazer, built in Japan, then returned to SLC to have the motor installed. This is a good version to have with better brakes and bearings than the older versions.

The driver spring may be stretched. This happens when you run the engine without the belt in place.

This is one of his very first models, 3hp. Story says they started around 1955. I don't think the motors shown were available until 1958.

The model B Tote Gote was designed around the Briggs 3hp with flojet carb and remote tank.
