I have been reading all sorts of threads on this brake set up. I have seen them selling for $175 from some members here. Has anyone actually though of reproducing these? Did anyone get as far as talking to a machinest to see what the cost would be? :shrug:
I have a 1970 Rupp Sprint that is missing the back brake assembly. I thought I could just get any 4" brake for it but it turns out that the drum is a little larger. Can I get a 4" drum that fits the turbine wheel or do I have to get a brake plate to fit my drum? What to do?

A couple of questions about 1970 Rupp Roadster Brake Light and Cable.........I'm trying to get mine to work properly.
On the rear break cable, there is a white plastic device with two wires and connectors attached. (Perhaps my part is broken and not working properly)...
I Am working on a MTD Frame for a buddy and the Band Brake set up has me a little weirded. If anyone has one of these put together on a bike can you post a pic on how it is situated and connected?
I would appreciate it.
