I found this Montgomery Ward mini bike up on Craigslist for $300 near my area and was curious about it. I know it needs a restoration since it's so beat up, but is there anything special about these things? Please reply if anyone knows something about this type of bike.

Winter is setting in up here in Upstate NY. The old Montgomery Wards 3 1/2hp mini-bike is used to run to the end of the road,where the mailbox is. I could just keep it inside so that it starts easily. But the snow,ice...and that metal flap (brake?) that pushes against the rear tire...
