what kind of trike is this?

i went and checked it out today. it needs 3 new tires and the rear brake seems to be seized up. what i'm really wondering about is the differential looking thing on it. i tried messing with some of the levers on it but couldn't make it so the sprocket would lock up. it's got a foot operated throttle too.

it's definitely made to run a horizontal shaft motor though. it looks like fun, but it's more of a project than i want to get involved with right now.

it's some chick that has it (she was pretty cute too). i don't have the money to build it now or a place to really keep it.

i could leave it at my work but it'd be a pain in the ass working on it there (eventhough it is a Harley shop). i also have no way of taking it somewhere that i could ride it. that's almost reason enough there not to buy it.
