honda odyssey 350

check out my new toy - 1985 honda odyssey 350 R

it doesn't run right now... but i think it has a vacuum leak because it has poor compression... but the top half of the motor is all new

this week, i'm going to make one of these to hopefully find the problem: Pressure Testing - - ATV at Off-Road.com

ya thats what i'm hoping it's not... but i know the left side was considered a weak spot on these 350s... but if that is the case it would only cost me around $175... not too bad considering i only paid $1100 for the thing and everything else works and is in awesome shape

The 85 Odyssey is a great machine. I have owned 3 of them. My best Odyssey story is from 1986. I saw one advertised in the local paper for $1300. I went and checked it out. I only had $1000 so that's what I brought. I was 18 and this guy looked a couple yrs older than me. He bought it as a leftover about 6 months before and paid $3800 new. He had just bought a Trans Am and didn't have money to insure it. I offered him the grand. He looked over at his Trans Am and said ok but my father is going to kill me. Used ones were going for about $2500 at the time. Prices have dropped a little on them recently but not as much as the Pilots. If you get get yours going for under $1500 you did good.

i'm still looking around for some good sources for info - theres a few buggy forums i've found but none that are odyssey specific... very cool looking machines you guys have, i wouldn't mind getting a 250 one off these days just cause they're so simple and tough - but i'm going to need a bigger garage before that happens
