Hello My name is Tom, I have found a Simplex spitfire minibike in my local land fill and I am currently restoring it. I believe the bike is late 1960s or early 1970s. I have searched the web for any info on this cool little bikes but have not found anything. If anyone can help me with identifying this bike let me know

Welcome to the site, I am sure that somebody will be able to help you here. I think that I saw some info on Simplex on the Scooter Museum Page. Try to Google that.

Look at the brochures on the minidoddle site.
Look at both Simplex and Valiant as Valiant bought out Simplex.

Hello, I have tried both of the sites you guys have given me before and they have nothing on the simplex spitfire mini bike. I will try to post a few pictures of it later today so maybe some one can help me to identify this bike. Thanks again for your help.

I have added a few photos of the Simplex Spitfire minibike.They can be seen in the recent photos or under my albums. I am trying to identify the year and value of this bike. One of the photos is during the restoration, I have finished the bike since then. I am also looking for someone who can reproduce decals. If anyone knows anybody let me know.
