new Guy in Ct.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and it's awesome. Just got done with a new project and will post pics soon (modded briggs w/ a torque converter) Home made frame etc...Thing flies. 51 mph so far. First bike with torq a verter and it's the best thing since sliced bread. I have a smaller sprocket for the wheel but the thing is wicked...Probably just ride it like this for a while.

How did you modifie Briggs?I just put a torque converter on a 5 HP Briggs rear gas tank.I cut and welded a tunnel in the gas tank for the output shaft of the driven unit.Converter sits level tank looks stock untill you look from bottom side.Just being nosey.

I cut 10 thousandths off the head---.030 over piston--- and a cam from a race kart motor. I'm not sure what the specs are on it. runs on 93 oct. We just put a digital tach on it for a few hours messin around and the thing turns 8200 rpm.....explains the top end speed :)
