A Honda...But what model?

The attached picture is of a Honda with a strange tank and seat. I know next to nothing about rice grinders. Don't have any registration. Anyone know what model/year.

Thumbs down Your 1960s Honda...

You have a 1959-1962 Honda CB92 Benly Super Sport. They were a 2 cylinder 125cc bike.. I am almost 100% sure as that wrap around rubber on the tank is a sure sign and I do not remember any other Hondas with this feature..
As far as early 60s Hondas go, this is one of the RAREST models going and not often seen in ANY condition. First model to use the CB model designation and it was based on Hondas racing teams factory race bikes of the era..
PLEASE do some research and check some vintage Honda sites and forums and you might be surprised at what you find. Even whats left of that bike in your photo is worth more $$$$ money than you might expect.

I did notice it has a really huge front brake drum. I suspect it's been repainted and never put back together. The rest of the parts seem to be there. It was in a shed for 20 or so years.

Pretty cool. I'd hang on to it. Got the motor too? What's wrong with it?

I worked for American Honda way back when...

Hi Guys, Thanks for the emails.. NO I am not some sort of Honda guru as one of you put it. I did work many years for American Honda and at the dealership level. I will say I have forgotten more than most ever knew.. Advice is free and when I saw the CB92 I wanted to let the owner know that he did not have a $100 honda dream parts bike. Some not so "honest" Honda collector might have told him otherwise and tried to "score" it. You guys have a great site and have helped me so I am just doing my part. Good Karma and all that..

Thanks for your expertize! I think all the parts are there. But I'm not going to even consider putting it together in the comming year. Too many other projects. I really can't imagine someone giving big bucks for the little bike. Hell, for 6K or 8K a guy can buy a really nice Triumph 650.

Thanks for the info. Now I know what I got. I'm going to put it back and save it for a future project.
