mini mini rebuild

This is one of the first minis i built from scratch and it works great very reliable. i had a heck of a time building the rear end in such a small package i think i completely redid it 3 or 4 times. But anyway i feel the need to tear into it again. Im putting a higher up seat on it probrobly with shocks from a suzuki 50 i had laying around. I go the new seat base already made and will be covering it in the next couple days. But in addition to that im also going to put a fatter tire ont he front to match the rear one. While im doing that im going to raise it up a little in front to give it a touch more ground clearance. Also smaller better looking foot pegs and possibly different handle bars. Anyway heres an old pic of it. Ill update pics as i go. Im jumping around between progects right now

Is it awkward driving it with the pegs mounted on the forks? I mean when turning of course. Looks cool, probably have all the power you need with the 3? Does your little "tuba" cold air intake have a mesh screen?

Nope its easy to ride the only thing is the handlebars are too short and hit the insides of your knees. so im going to try to fix that now. Its got plenty of power. I rode beside my brother and it toped out at 38 mph. it gets there quick too The intake is actually a bathroom drain pipe. wide open no mesh. hey its a briggs it can take it It sucks in the winter though it gets bogged down when snow flies in there. Im off to cover the seat right now

Being a plumbing contractor, I guess I should be a shame of my self self for not knowing that was a p-trap 90. But the funnel threw me off. Or is that a bell escutcheon? Hard to tell. You have a very creative "macgyverish" knack at these things Jeep, kudo's to you bro!
