!!!

Hey everyone. The tweaking continues.I ordered a brake hub/sprocket mount with a Horstman 62T split sprocket and new chain. With the factory supplied 72T rear sprocket the drive chain is taking a real beating as it strikes the ground on the left handed turns too much for my liking..I'm getting alot off kinking in the chain as a result of ground strikes.Going with the smaller rear drive gear will reduce the low-end grunt and give me a little more on the top end.As the bike sits now with the 72T gear it could definately use a little less on the low-end.As you can see in the pic there is not much clearance from the gear & outside of the tire. You have to be careful on take-offs or you'll be on your butt before you know it.Plus the engine just winds out way too soon.I let you know the results when i get the goods installed.Later!!!

Thanks-man!!! I installed the new hub & 63T split sprocket today. Its noticably faster on the top end & still wants to pull the front end on hard acceleration.Maybe i'll try a 60T and call it good there-I dont think the stock brake setup can handle too much more speed before it becomes-"UNSAFE". Did i just say that?

Very nice project, and it sounds like you are already hooked on performing upgrades and mods (it never ends), keep up the good work
