1970 Speedway Superstar

Hey Guys,
As some of you may know, the Speedway minibikes were born as the result of some rather disgruntled Rupp employees that decided to go out on their own back in 1970. The company was located in Mansfield, OH(same town as the Rupp factory) and produced a nice variety of minibikes, buggies, and sleds. When the first bikes were produced, some of the same suppliers were used for the parts, while other parts used were proprietary to the Speedway bikes. The pictures attached are of one of Speedway's first bikes produced called the Superstar. I have been told that this model was sold through a handful of department stores, not minibike dealers. I purchased this bike last year in a totally unmolested state and proceeded to give it a complete restoration with a few upgrades such as a Dellorto carb and straight pipe as well as changing the color from the original blue to a shiny red and adding a kick starter. Notice the gas tank: As shown in the Superstar parts diagram and photo that I received, this is the original tank. It's the same as the '68 and '69 Rupp bikes, but it came painted on the Superstar instead of chrome as with many of the early Rupps. All of the chrome was redone including the cool factory splash guard on the downtubes behind the front wheel. I have only found one other person that has one, but have seen a total of 2 other bare frames on ebay over the past year. If any of you have one or have any other info on this super rare bike, I would like to hear from you.
