Alexander Renolds.

I picked this up on CL Friday. So far I have it tore apart, the forks completely stripped and most of the frame. I have the forks painted and will have the frame painted tomorrow. It was powder coated so that took some time. I have a new front fender, grips and throttle control, new comet clutch and rear sproket and chain. I think I am going to put a 6.5 clone on it.

Well I am back to Louisiana in the morning, I didn't get the whole frame stripped. I reload ammo and now I restore mini bikes and I try to keep my wife happy(and my dog Festus). I try to do all of this in 2 days(on the weekends). I guess the frame will have to wait until next weekend.I am so tired of working out of town and you mini bike guys have not helped because I now have another love...LOL ( The mini bikes, not you guys... You guy are pretty cool though)

I think so . I have a 3 maybe 4 day weekend this week so I will get some more work done on it. I also get my Big Cat back this week so I am sure I will be tinkering with it too.

I just picked up a 6.5 clone for it....102 bucks, just cant beat that. I also have decided to have it powdercoated instead of painting it. So as of now I have all parts for it and I just need to get it powdercoated and it will be ready to reassemble.

Well I made some progress today. I still need to put on the clutch and chain but it is just about ready to go.

Black with the blue clone looks sweet. I love my clone swap, wheelies galore!

Yes I like the 2 colors together too. Are you using a tav or just a clutch? I am just going with a comet clutch on this one.

Well I rode it today...This SOB is bad as hell.I am a big guy and it has no problem picking the front wheel off of the ground. It seems to like to do it about midrange rpm, I have no tach but that is my guess. I have named it "Lawsuit"

Nice looking bike!

Good color choice. Black just works.

May I suggest you begin thinking about a better braking system while your forks are still straight?
