K&S Build Completed

This is my completed K&S build. I found the frame at the curb put out for garbage. I posted it on this forum and jimh identified the bike for me and sent me a copy of the original sales pamphlet. I used the pamphlet as a guide to fabricate many of the parts for the bike. I was able to find a lower model K&S and copy the stickers that go on the bike. It is stock except for the engine which is a HS50 instead of a HS40 which came from the factory. The only other modification is that I put most of the bike together with acorn nuts because it gives it a finished look.

I hope to post the project from start to finish but I am having a heck of a time posting pictures and am unsure how to post multiple pictures in one thread.

Anyway, I am happy with the way the bike turned out and it pulls like a mule with the 72 tooth sprocket and torque converter

Came from the factory with white seat, white grips, white fenders and gold frame. I never would have choosen those colors on my own but I really like the look of the bike. Tough keeping the white grips clean,

yeah, white is tough to keep clean,it reminds me of the cars from the 70's with the white interiors,a buddy of mine had a camaro with a white interior, looks really cool but he was always touching it up all the time but what a beauty tho
