Project grape ape

Well here is my newest addition to my garage, picked this up today. Plans are strip it down, paint it purple with satin black fenders and ape hangers....hopefully a HF clone this motor looks pretty small. Paint the wheels ralley wheel silver. and of coarse redo the seat...I am sure the HF engine would fit fine and the tank would work too. but I kind of like where the tank is mounted on this one. I know I seen some polished ones like this So I will see if I can find one. If not we will take it from there. SO far this bike has a new chain, clutch and grips/brake lever.

depending on how my 16 hour shift goes tonight I may start to tear it down in the morning. i got all the bolts soaking as we speak. shouldnt take long to take it apart. figure out how i will strip the paint might just try some paint remover. in a perfect world i would have the frame/fenders and hangers painted this week.

the logo could be a dot with a spiral around it well i hope you find a good purple thats not too Barneyish and light in the loafers. Thats kinda why I never went through with it. Seems like a diffucult color to find in a spray can that looks manly enough. Buy you can say its the wifes bike so itll be easier for you Looking forward to the progress

any input on the seat? it needs recovered/ replaced its the correct length but a tad wider. ive seen a few on here that shorten them up alot but i dont want to much dead space. so if i get the board recoverd do you all think that will look good? input is apreciated

Guess the seat depends on how big the riders booty is. For your wife, I guees, we need pics to give us a idea on the size.
