Engine size

I am restoring a Duster mx and have a couple questions. I believe they came with a 3hp Tecumseh engine? I have seen a thread that Leathernun666 posted and he had a 5.5 hp engine (don't know brand) in a Duster. Would like to know what engines are compatable without too much modification. Gonna need pretty much everything for the bike, wheels, tires, brakes, shocks, sprokets, all shot. I've seen springs being sold for forks, are they 5.5"? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks gentlemen. I have just ordered new front springs and new rear shocks. I have got the frame and front end sanded down and waiting on a powder coating quote. If it's too much I will rattle can it. I think I can piece this jewel back together with the internet sites, I'm not too worried about making it original as I'm not looking to sell it. The engine will be the only tricky part as it wasn't there for me to take apart so I can't reverse engineer it.
Thanks again for the replies guys.
