Thank you to all of your comments to my first post on this forum trying to ID my "barn" find - 1972 Speedway Blue Angel.
A little background on me to mitigate the boo's I'm sure I'll receive posting converting this thing to Electric.
I've been big into motorcycle and cars for 30 years...
This Charger has been part of my collection for a long time, and is actually ridden quite a bit. It’s is a LOT of fun to ride and runs and rides with absolutely no issues.
Everything on this minibike is original with exception of the batteries, which have recently been replaced. Every one of...
Some new manufactures are making electric retro looking minibikes. They may look cool and they've got a few good ideas but, the price is stupid expensive for what you get.

Take a look at some of the others that pop-up in the youtube recommendations...
Homemade electric starter... a little cumbersome, but it's an option for engines in which recoil has been removed. Not sure exactly what they set it up for, but I'm sure a handy shopsmith could mod it to work in whatever fashion desired. cables hook up to a standard 12-volt automotive or...
Hey guys. I'd like to know how to identify my Predator 212. I know its a non-hemi (which sucks) and I've looked all over for some sort of plaque, or anything that will give me the model number, (example: 68120) but all I could find was this sticker on the shroud thing that goes over the flywheel...
Its on CL in Macomb Co MI
Posting the 2 photos to OldMiniBikes in case the ad goes away. Never saw one like it before.
The ad reads:
"This vintage scooter runs on a 12 V car battery (not included). I do not know the make or model or year. Runs great and is quiet. Has a loud horn that maybe was...
Just lost my job, so I'm selling my Super 73 Electric Minibike. I love this bike and just got it a couple of months ago. I'm just in real need for money right now and I'd hate to let this go.
Here are the specs:

Top Speed: 27 to 30...
And I found out its a really tight fit. I had to take the muffler protector off, and air filter cover off.
The gas tank cap/knob is centered, so you can't use it with the tank on. I will take the one off the original baja motor and use that if it fits the lifan. The metal tanks hang a lot...
Looking for a clean/usable blower housing for a Tecumseh HH70 engine, NO electric starter bump. Looking for one WITHOUT fuel line/primer bulb holes in it (like a snowblower model). I just need a regular HH70's blower housing for this engine.
I don't necessarily need the recoil portion of the...
Greetings,
I came across this group and it sure looked like fun so I decided to join. I worked with elementary, middle school, high school and college over my 35+ years in education. I'm retired now and miss the kids, not most of the administrators. I retired in 2010 after my construction...
I just bought a CT2000u for my wife to ride around our property and find me when I am out working on our small trails etc.
It does not have electric start and I would like to add it. I can handle the electric work and found a starter listed on the evil store and wondered if anyone had ever...
What a crock, they act like this is something new. It is a blatant mini bike frame copy with bigger wheels and electric motor.
And only $1800 for something you may never get on Kickstarter, or $3000 when they are actually produced.
Guys, we are in the wrong business...
What would be a good electric start engine to use for my mini bikes ? I have COPD and I try to start my minis but after a few pulls I'm out of breath and give up. I never ride my minis but I would like to.

This bike is nice and looks well built. You can tell they designed to be an electric bike rather than adapt a pedal bike to be electric.
Like the wide tires and 7 speeds.
Now, my question is...
has anyone put electric start on an engine with a billet flywheel? if so what steps did you take?
I'm thinking about buying the flywheel starter ring and having it machined to the billet flywheel however I have no idea how or where I can get that done. Just tired of almost pulling my shoulder...
