More than likely the snow will start melting before I get around to setting up a "snow" rig, but I'm still hopeful. The question of the day is would a purpose built snow tire work better (and how much better) than just making a chain setup that I could deflate the tire and then add on and air...
I've decided to move on from this project as it just hasn't worked as well as I would like and I don't want to put any more time into it. If I can sell it, it would help me fund other projects. You can can read about it in my build thread here...
Just thought I'd pose the question, "what do you use for snow clearing?" I was thinking about the other day while cleaning up our 3rd big snow dump this winter... Feel free to post up some pics of your tractors, snow plows, snow blowers, or ...really fancy ...shovels?
Here's what I use...
It's a Coleman CT200U, only mods I have made is to the governor and throttle stop. It's 212cc and I know it has enough power for the snow(talking 4-6 inches, we got 20 inches but I've made decent paths yet I have ZERO TRACTION), I'm just not sure where to start to allow more traction. What's the...

The drifts going out to my garage are close to 6 feet high in places

I am running out of room , have to keep pushing up and back lol
Had to...
I was thinking of using these tires on my bonanza for winber. Has anyone used them before. Am I just wasting my time. Wanted to use the snow hogs I have but they're 13-5-6 and I think that's to wide for the stock wheels.
:confused::confused::confused:I will be building a big tire mini bike for myself I'm 6 foot and 325 lbs. I would to make with a ground clearance of about 10 inches something I can use in sand, mud and snow..Thank you for your suggestions::confused::confused::confused::confused:
Where are the kids offering to do work for you anymore?
I understand inflation.
If a kid showed up with a snow blower in tow asking for $20 to blow out my normal length 2-wide driveway, a job that would take 10 mins at best, that child would have a job!
BeeKeeper and myself did this as...
Today I was picking up some motorcycle parts for a friend of mine, and spotted a mini bike sitting underneath a small car port with snow covering up half of it. I asked the guy if he was interested in selling it and he said.. not really because his dad purchased it new for the kids to learn how...
