Here is all the info I have on the El Burro’s. They made 3 types. El Burro (5hp) 1969 $369.95. Super 8 (8hp) 1970 $389.95 and the Torque 5 model (5hp with torque converter)1971 $379.95. All were Briggs engines. An early 1970 Mini Bike Guide magazine test gave the El Burro a horrible rating so in the June 1970 issue the company came out with the “all new” Super 8 with improved clutch and the magazine loved it. The only 2 colors available were blue and orange. Options were, light kit battery operated head & tailight, passenger footpegs, drawbar and sled, cover and a trailer.
