I have 2 different engines I need help identifying. The first BnS is the black one and I have the model number but I just want to confirm that im looking at it the right way. Can someone tell me the year this engine was built.

The second BnS I have zero information to, I uploaded 4 pics so if anyone can figure out what model it is or any other information I would be greatly appreciative.

First one with the complete shroud and tank is a 4 horse manufactured on June 4, 1962.

The other one I am not sure. I'd guess it's a late model 5 with low oil sensor.

Thanks. It’s so odd. The black engine says it was build in 1962 but all the components look really new. Is there any chance that could be incorrect?

The second (naked) engine, can I just find a universal puller that will fit on a Briggs or do I need to know more info to get that part?

The black one is probably not a 1962 model. The shroud shape looks correct for '62, but nothing else does. Is there white paint under the black on the shroud? I have an an original 1964 3hp and it's white. The rest of that engine looks like later production, perhaps 1980s+. If you ever take the flywheel off and there are no points underneath, then it's definitely not a '62.

The other engine looks like a very late production generator model of some kind. Unfortunately you'll probably have to measure the bore and stroke to fine out what it is. IMO it's probably at least 5hp.
