    I wouldn't buy a single part for an engine I was trying to get to do 4500 for a long time besides MAYBE a rod and definitely some valve springs.
    I'm definitely removing the governor. I'm pretty much a noob at this point. At first, I didn't know how to get more than 4500rpm out of a TAV2, but now I'm confident I'll push 5800rpm. I've been doing a little more research and this is what I plan on at this point:

    --------What I need to Buy--------

    +0.100" ARC rod

    GX160 UT2 Flat-top piston

    0.010" OEM Crush gasket---------Should give me 9.7:1 compression and I could always mill the head later

    PVL flywheel with stock key---28* BTDC

    22lb NrRacing Rev kit

    Chrome-Moly Push Rod kits---I can cut them to length

    GX200 long slot push rod guide

    CL1 or CL1 IMP Cam---Because I like that they're hardened

    GX140 Emulsion Tube

    92 and 95 Main jets

    -------What I already have--------

    Homemade header

    Homemade 2" UNI Filter adapter

    Mild Porting

    Yellow TAV2 Contra Spring

    7" driven

    White or blue garter springs as a starting point

    Aluminum Driver wieghts

    I have until Winter to think about this build. For now I'm finishing the rebuild on my snowmobile.

    The machine this engine is on is a 2004 Ty-Rail go-kart. I'll take a picture soon. I think I'll also try a project thread on this.

    With just an intake, exhaust, jets and a flywheel mine would rev to 7600 give or take. After a rod it will spin to 8000+ on my circle track kart.

    Also, the TAV doesn't like a lot of rpm 8k + for too long.
    One of my videos on the kart, you'll see at the end the torque converter let go.

    Got the pictures:

    This is the Ty-Rail. I just took it mudding and didn't get a chance to clean it:

    The snowmobile's engine. It got a bad rod knock last winter. Turns out it fried the Mag side crank pin bearing. You can also see my blown-up yerf dog in the background:

    The MOD2 is hardened, too & would be a much better choice with those other mods. It will give you more power, for a miniscule difference in price.

    Could you use a good pipe at a discount? I have an NR Racing pipe, brand new & unused, that I bought that doesn't fit my mini. I'd sell it for $20 + shipping. PM me if interested.
