Anyone ever tryed a compression release on West Bend 820?

Recently had a West Bend 820 restored and rebuilt for a karting project. Or possible mini bike installation. The Builder said he could add a compression release to assistant starting with a recoil. I felt this would be best for many bike installation. Anyone ever have one or try one with compression release?

the us820 on the snowrunners come with one and they work great.

That's what I ended up with right they'rethere angled spark plug ,head compression release put on. haven't had a chance to fire it up yet it's been bench tested with the builder and I'm very happy with the looks of it at least. Mark
