Here is the original battery box that was a little small. I’ll keep the inner box and small distribution panel and put it in the new one.

Dropped the danged headlamp and broke the lens. Having trouble finding a replacement. It was a cheapo Amazon purchase, no longer available, so I’m not that surprised. Hoping I don’t need to order a new one and get it repainted. The painter has been basically doing the work just for the cost...

Finished up the new battery box. Sent out for powder coat. Started to install the clone and mounting plate.

A lot of internet searching and trips to the local bike boneyard. In the process I learned to weld, run electrical and tap and die.

Welding new battery box tomorrow. Need the box to house the battery and electric start switches.

The handle bars were an eBay purchase and the switches, throttle cable and front Honda brake shoes were from Amazon or OldMiniBikes

The gas tank is from a Pagsta chopper. Had a local guy paint the tank, fender and headlamp,

I took the steering stem off the Baja and cold pressed it into the triple tree off a Honda CB 125. The new triple tree allowed for a head lamp and speedo bracket. The triple tree now fits the front shocks off the CB 125 which are configured for a front drum brake and a speedo drive. The head...

The rear fender was cut down and moved higher to accommodate the larger tire . Mounting holes for a rear tail light. Kept the rear drum brake but put on Honda shoes.

Front rim is from a Honda XR 70.. The hub is from a Honda CB 125 as is the front drum brake. The rear rubber is a Kenda 9 x 8 x 8. Stock Baja rear rim with a colored spacer to push the sprocket out to allow the chain to clear the rear tire.

All the parts ready to go.

Extended the front of the stock Baja seat by an inch to cover the non Baja tank. Redid the seat in bison hide and had someone embroider the back.
