What do you do (short of a complete teardown) to clean up the inside of an engine? Ran it 4 times. New oil in, completly black oil out. Ran half and half engine flush and oil once. Same result. Again, it's a 34 year old Briggs. thanks

Drove my 34 year old Hound Dog mini and the clutch even at idle kept grabing. Took it apart and everything seems ok. My question is, the spring that wraps around the shoes, must have lost most of it's holding power? What else would allow the thing to do what it does? It is just a tad on the old...

Don't see to many square channel frame bikes

Process of overhauling my mini. When I test it on a downhill coast, engine off, sometimes it feels like a brake comes on and there is a loud howl coming from the engine/clutch. Is the clutch shot?

Just got my hands on a "Hound Dog" mini by Dave Stratten out of San Dimas California. It's from the early 70's. Anyone know much about them?
