his dad is the buddy i was talking about...just trying to help him out. im guessing 440dakota allready tried to find new forks though.

a buddy of mine has a heathkit boonie with the wrong forks. any info on getting the right forks? also what size front tire would that run?

the chain is from a local cycle shop. i didn't ask about strength, just give me some 35 chain lol. i'll call them and ask about better chain. as far as bent sprocket it does have a little wobble but nearly nothing. tension is good according to what i've read in other threads. i will check...

i'm having a problem with my chain popping off. i just put the bike back togethter after a rebuild. by eye the clutch, idler, and rear sproket look lined up, in fact pretty good. i can ride for a while and its fine, then it just pops off, even without hitting the throttle hard. any ideas on what...

if it were me, i would take it back and get a new one. why not take advantage of that option. just make sure you get the new warranty so you can do it again!
