The coil is the stock one on an older gx160. I have tooken off the gov.

Ok I just snapped off the flywheel bolt on the 160 crank and could not find a cheap one that was a 160 stroke so I guess I'm going to have to spend 70 dollars on a new one.

Would a clone gx200 crank work on my older gx160 with a +.020 billet rod and a flattop piston

Ok I figured that is how you check it but what if there binding. What would I have to do.

How do I check for coil bind an if there is any I don't have the tool or can't find anybody with the tool to cut the spring pockets down.

I got it from nrracing and I think my coil may have a rev limiter.

My motor has the following parts on it and only revs to ~4000rpm GX160 Arc rod +.020 Flattop piston stock bore File fit rings CM pushrods 1.3 billet rockers 26lb springs(have duals but can't find someone to cut down the seat) 307 lift cam from nrracing (307lift, ICL 08, LS 07) .045...

The mani is about 2.5-3in long and the pipe is the 2stage one from agk. I have the 45 dual springs but cannot find anyone to cut the seat down .050

Cam is a 308 w/ 1.3 rockers and double checked that the cam is lined up. Do these 22mm mikuni round sides mess up like this.

I never saw it myself but what the guy said is that it would spray out gas of the carb. He did get it to blip to 7500 once but it always stopped at 4000

My plug is what appears to be rich. The tip is black and gunk on it. The valves should not be floating cause they are the 26lb springs. Needle is in center posesition.
