I wanted to mention to you my brother Scottessey and myself help run a family metal fabrication shop here in Sunnyvale (Silicon Valley). I am tinkering around with the idea of making a replica of the chain guard for my Gilson. I can't find any chain guards out there currently.
Let me know if you know anybody who might have one we can scan in the CNC and duplicate. I would laser the design out, add the raised section, and fold it up on our CNC brake.I would need it for roughly a week here at our shop. I am sure we can match it almost exactly. If I made one, I'd probably make some extras too.
