I noticed that the lighted flywheel can be a pain to put on due to the additional magnets. Just swapped my lighting coil and flywheel from one engine to another yesterday.
I’m a big dummy. Don’t know why I couldn’t get the aluminum flywheel to fit before, the taper is the same, but it does now! Thanks for all the help guys! Y’all saved me a ton of money, and now my Black Widow project will have lights! Yay!!!!
I got the flywheel that way. I swapped it to my stock governed Rupp Roadster’s HS40 last night, and put an unmolested lighted flywheel on the ungoverned Black Widow. Don’t want the flywheel flying apart at high RPM.
