brand new spark plug, identical, and it still wont start by itself....any thoughts

Hi All I just tuned up a briggs carb 3.5 and it will not start and run without fluid. I'm not good with Briggs. It idles, runs and throttles up fine until it is shut off then wont restart without fluid. What am i missing? Thanks Xander

hi all, yes it was a good trade. just 4 behringer 1020s, stands and a mile of cable. it was given to him and he had no idea or care of value. it was true bartering. he had something i wanted and i had something he wanted. i do need to splice the sparkplug wire. that was the problem, not carb...
