Can you please post a few photos of the driven sleeve in place? I have put a sleeve on the driver I'm wondering if your idea to put one on the driven might be better.

It's all good deadpixel. I haven't even started on the carb yet. Slow and steady wins the race lol. I'm way too new on these little engines to jump in too deep lol.

I have given my head to a friend who does valve work for a living he has re-cut the seats and ground the valves. They look so much better than what they did. He said they were no where near right.

I don't know if these valves springs have been shimed but if it was coil bind this would be my guess.

Will adding a lash cap and correct retainer to the intake side on a stock clone motor give a noticeable seat of your pants results? OR is this mainly for performance engines?

I'm trialling a sheave to stop the driver coming all the way together to get into "overdrive". My first test was 8mm and it didn't get into overdrive but wasn't1:1 either. Do I have now made the sheave 6.5mm to see how this goes. When the tc was not modified it my engine would only rev to 3700...
Its the belt itself that a Asymmetric not the pullies. Asymmetric belt has one flatter side and one angled side, a symmetric belt has two angled side hence the V.
