Sorry to bump this but i am having a leaking problem also. It appears that after sitting for a few minutes that gas comes out of the carb near the engine side. Is that an overflow on that end of the carb ? I check the float needle and i thing it wasnt seating tightly closed, would this make the...

Are you measuring 1 5/8 on the flange outer or the bearing casing. All i see out there is 3/4 x 1 3/8 outer

Not too sure but i think this guy may have the wrong fenders somehow. unless i am missing something, they are about one inch maybe more narrower that the rear brackets on frame. hmmmmm

i think i will start with the bare one and paint the forks from this one and make a seat for it. this way i can feel like i put more of my time and pride into it as i make it what i want it to be.
