How to measure, cut chains for Rupp Roadster

According to the 69 parts diagram. 1st gear chain is 54 pt. 2nd gear chain is 50 pt. That is with an original 13 tooth engine clutch.

    Does This Crank Exist?

Some of the HS50 cranks used a larger shaft retainer bolt thread size. Just mentioning this in case you were for example going to use a Rupp TC unit. The outer weigh assembly hole would need to be drilled out to utilize the larger bolt thread size.

Just picked up a Lil Indian, but which one?

Curious on the front end. Those handlebars are an early set as far as I recall where they are welded to their own plate and bolted to the top triple tree plate. If you look at the top triple tree plate from the underside. are there (4), 1/4-inch holes in it?

Just picked up a Lil Indian, but which one?

I have a very early 1968 or late 1967 brochure. Pegs on the 6000 and 5000 were front mounted. Many years ago I had a 6000 frame that had both front and rear pegs from the factory. Joe

Just picked up a Lil Indian, but which one?

Rear passenger side swingarm. What does the brake bracket look like? Also, 7000 would have lights, front brake disc. and battery box. I suspect originally a 5000 or 6000. If you could find an indication of original paint color that would surely identify it.

    Rupp witch one is it

I was going to suggest the yellow one is a Goat. Non OEM engine and that clutch hooked up to the rear chain is not correct. Nice bike though!
